Not when I was there
Cleanest (not greasy) seafood I've ever had. If you are visiting Coos Bay this place seems like a great place to check out. They're on a dock and there are cool historic pictures of the area inside their restaurant. The pricing is good too.
This place was really good! Lunch was awesome & fresh fish we took with us to go taste incredible. Will definitely make this a regular stop.
Small spot in a beautiful location leaving me no doubt that my order of fish & chips was very fresh and not from a box.
Most fish n chips serve up thickly battered grease laden gunk. Not these folks. 10 bucks gets you a generous 6 or 7 pieces, with crisp fries and a mouth watering slaw. The breading is more like a panko, crisp and perfectly cooked fish thats juicy without tasting like you just chugged a bottle of cooking oil while chewing on rubber. This is about the best I've ever had. We frequently take our boat to city dock in Coos Bay with a tasty box of our favorite the goal. Worth the trip. Best on the coast indeed.
Had chowder to go, great service very small.place w/a couple of tables. Soup was very good but just needed some cream to give it better texture. You can also buy fresh fish. HD pretty good menu selection.
Small, homey spot. Seating for maybe 6 people inside, lots more outside (weather permitting). Very fresh seafood...the clams were still alive in the case and moving around behind us while we ate. Would stop here again.
Best fish n chips!!
The food is always fresh and tastes amazing
The freshest seafood & friendly service!
Great food, fresh and chowder was awesome
Decent fish and chips at a good price. It's the panko style batter, rather than the traditional beer batter. Not much room for dine-in. I'd recommend just the regular fish and chips. The other stuff on the menu was not as tasty.
This place is not only cute, but they have the best fish and chips around! We came here in March for my birthday and planned my boyfriends birthday in coos bay may 16th just so we could come back. Weve been twice since, in our 5 day stay. They are great people and have a cool view of the water too! Home made clam chowder is delicious! Go go go!
Out on the bay. Some of the best clam chowder I have ever eaten! They sell great food to eat. As well as fresh fish to take home and prepare yourself. A must visit when you are in Coos Bay.
If you like fish and chips this is the place. Fisherman's is priced appropriately and the fish is fresh.
Nice spot,cool good stuff,
Fish and chips =AMAZING will absolutely be going everytime we pass through Coos Bay
Walked down the plank that leads you to the small restaurant. The dining area is pretty small but the atmosphere felt like we'd get a fresh seafood plate. WOW...so good. Had the combo plate of fish, oysters, shrimp, calamari and fries! Now thats a combo plate! Was hot, fresh, crispy...damn good. Oh yeah, i also had a bowl of their clam chowder, which was too starchy, IMHO, and more cream should've been used. Was totally a satisfying meal. Will be back.
It's the best fish and clam chowder on the west coast!
Best fish and chips in my life!!
We had a seafood selection plate prepared, tasty!
Love their halibut and chips!!! Very friendly staff
Love this place! Service was excellent. Even though its small, there is plenty of room to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal!
My wife and I ordered a clam chowder and the combo basket. Both were fantastic. Don't go on a rainy day, as you will most likely need to eat outside, but the outside seating on the boardwalk is great! The only complaint it that the clam chowder was good, but not great. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, but the food is good with excellent service. I would happily go again.
Such nice people, very sincere and knowledgeable about the area!
We came here last Saturday. It was a really warm day in winter so we expected it to be busy but luckily for us it wasn't! The only drawback is they have tiny tables. We ate up in the covered outdoor eating. The food was delicious. Fish was a little bland I suppose but I prefer that. Could have used more ketchup for my fries but I should have asked for that. The lady was very nice. The clam chowder was excellent. Food was hot and plentiful. My picky son lapped it up like a puppy at the water bowl. We will eat here again!
The food and service were good. Some great clam chowder. The prawn we're huge and tasted good. My wife really liked her clams. The fish is bite sized, not big filets FYI.There is very little seating, so be prepared to eat outside. It is fairly expensive for the amount of food you get, but the flavor is worth it.
Stumbled upon this place on the recommendation from a friendly chap in the tourist information. Very pleased that I did. Ate there then and the previous time I drove through Coos Bay (lunch and dinner) and will eat there again today before I leave on my 3rd trip. I've not tried any other place in Coos Bay but really enjoy the fish & chips (fries) and the daily catch here.
Great food!! Fun place.
Yes it is as good as they said.
Fabulous food and customer service
Great food and friendly service
Great. Took the family while here on vacay. We all loved it. Clam chowder was bomb!
It not over price and food not so bad

Great fish and. Chips chowder was best in town
I will say truly the best fish & chips I have enjoyed in years. Absolutely perfectly done
Right one the water and the food is fresh and delicious.
Their fish and chips were awesome! Best I've ever had!
The people there are a really nice and the food is delicious 😉
The freshest seafood on the coast! We eat here every time we are in Coos Bay.
Great fish and chips along with chowder right on the water, service was very friendly although a little slow, was still a great pit stop on road trip off the 101 in the middle of Coos Bay.
The seafood was over the top. I mean they harvest their own clams. We had the combo basket and everything in it was super. The owners were so friendly. They also shared a lot of info about the area. Great place and great people. Doug and Judy.
A small restaurant right on the water, literally. Excellent local fresh seafood.
Delicious panko breaded halibut fish and chips! Pricey, but worth it! Fresh fish, fast service. Highly recommend!
I wanted clams, since their website is all about the local clams, but they didn't have them when I stopped. Had fried oysters instead, which were okay. Mostly fried options here.
Reviews and all of the advertising would make you feel as if this was a diamond in the rough. I found it to be otherwise. Clam chowder was ok, though it was chalked full of clam which is a nice surprise compared to other options on the coast. The fish and chips were utterly disappointing. Felt and looked as if it was a frozen dinner found at any grocery store. Incredible location and building though. On a floating pier right on the water. Fun to walk around and take in the views and history of Coos Bay
Some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Great service, too. I will absolutely be back!
great selection and price, high quality fish and super friendly
The fish and chips were fantastic. Big chunks of cod, lightly battered. Fries were crinkle cut, had a good taste. Also had a cup of chowder, it was better then the tourist chain. The location adds a lot to the character of the diner. Will be back, I highly recommend this place.
Very good fish and chips. They have the malt too. Family owned and operated, and they catch their own fish! Fresh fish, good stuff.
